Welcome to "Sangwara :: The Ultimate Resource", your #1 guide all things related to this great BlissCorporation project.

Sangwara was started in early 1996 by Gabry Ponte and MTJ Capuano with Claire Thomas and Jeffrey Jey.  At that time Gabry Ponte was the founder and producer of Worldbus Records, one of four labels under the production company BlissCorporation.  One of the first releases was a cover of "Gangsta's Paradise" by Coolio, printed under the name Sangwara, named for the secretary of Massimo Gabutti (BlissCorporation founder), Kamaruk Sungwaraporn, according to BlissCo's A/R Department, they liked her so much that they named the group after her.  Sangwara spawned five releases over it's two year career, four covers and one original, and became one of the biggest projects to be released under Worldbus Records.

Updates:

2/29/08 :: I updated the discography page for Killing Me Softly with new scans of the CD release, which I recently acquired, and added an audio clip of "Killing Me Hardly" to the audio page, which is available only on that CD Single.
